Amanda Davey, RMT, has joined Solace Wellness Collective under the mentorship of Shannon in perinatal care! Amanda starts August 6 and can be booked online now! She also provides general RMT treatment and enjoys working with TMD.
Solace Wellness Collective will be undergoing renovations July 6th-17th, therefore my practice will be solely in Coquitlam during those weeks. Please visit the “Home Based Coquitlam location” for booking

For NEW PATIENTS looking to book with Shannon – please note that my practice is focused on treating the following: Pregnancy & Postpartum including cesarean scars, uterus/bladder visceral manipulation; Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD); Post-surgical scars; TMD aka. jaw dysfunction/pain; nervous system regulation. I do not offer general massage treatments.
If you cannot find an appointment time that works with your schedule, you can always add yourself to the waitlist. You’ll receive automatic notification by way of text and/or email when a spot that matches your availability opens up.
A reminder that the cancellation policy is 48 hours notice to avoid charges. If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, please cancel or reschedule your appointment online, or call/text 604-245-5949 if it’s within the 48 hour cancellation window.

Shannon has been working with the human body since 2009, initially as a reiki practitioner followed by holistic massage and bodywork training in 2011. With a desire to learn more about the human body, Shannon pursued her RMT training in 2014.
During RMT school, Shannon became passionate about musculoskeletal anatomy, fascia, pregnancy massage, headaches and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD).
Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Shannon has completed continuing education in:
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Scar tissue management
Postpartum care including post-cesarean section treatment
The female pelvis, including assessment and mobilization of the uterus and bladder
Myofascial release/mobilization
Cranial-Sacral therapy
Visceral manipulation
Thai-MASHiatsu or “Mashing” (treatment using the practitioner’s feet)

Thus, Shannon’s approach to treatment includes conventional massage therapy techniques as well as non-conventional approaches, and is customized to the unique needs of each patient that arrives on her treatment table.
Her mission is to provide exceptional therapy that allows for physical and mental relief resulting in an overall increase in health and happiness.
She is passionate about supporting pregnant and new mothers with massage therapy, information sharing and education, encouragement of self-care and self-advocacy.

Amanda Davey

Amanda graduated in April 2017 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT). She has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC since November 2017. During her time at WCCMT, she had the opportunity to gain experience at a variety of outreaches and inreaches. During that time, she developed a particular interest in prenatal and postnatal massage at BC Women’s Hospital. Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Amanda has completed continuing education in prenatal care and TMJ dysfunction. Additionally, she works as a clinic instructor at the West Coast College of Massage supervising massage students as they complete their clinic internships. Outside of treating, Amanda enjoys getting outdoors and exploring the beautiful hiking trails BC has to offer with her family.
